Do you have a head for sales and a heart for horticulture?
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Person to join our team. This varied role combines sales, customer service, and trade counter responsibilities, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and plants in equal measure.
In this role you will:
- Be good with people and build relationships with our trade customers.
- Assist with trade counter sales.
- Field enquiries from customer email and phone calls.
- Help maintain and develop product displays, seasonal promotions, and point-of-sale materials.
- Support wider marketing activity, from trade shows and website content to press releases and social media.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has excellent people skills and a friendly, approachable manner.
- Is confident in sales and enjoys providing first-class customer service.
- Is keen to learn quickly about the company's products and services.
- Is organised, accurate, and able to balance sales targets with attention to detail.
- Shares our commitment to plant health, OHAS standards, and protecting the Rochfords brand.
This is a hands-on and rewarding role where no two days are the same – one moment you’ll be on the trade counter helping a landscaper load up, the next you could be supporting seasonal promotions or developing new sales opportunities.
From £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience
